​Tarek was on job sites wearing hard hats from the time he was a young child, and worked his first construction job the summer he turned 13 working as a concrete installer. He's continued to work real estate and construction jobs ever since that first summer, taking enjoyment in learning as many aspects of real estate and development as possible along the way.

 

Tarek brings two decades in the real estate business bringing extensive knowledge as a builder, developer, sales and marketing expert. Tarek has been involved in developing, constructing, and marketing everything from high end residential developments to working with distressed properties for large scale redevelopment efforts, both residential and commercial.

On the marketing side, Tarek has a passion for video, photography, branding, advertising, and working with clients to convey the inherent value in a property or development project. On the construction side, he enjoys leading the construction team, unlocking time and cost efficiencies drawing on  hands on experience as a tradesman to solve problems collaboratively and sequence the job cogently, but most importantly he loves bringing out the artisan and craftmanship of the builders to create a beautiful end product.

 

Prior to founding Trusted Properties, Tarek began his career as a tradesman, working as an apprentice and technician in the fields of concrete, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical while going to school. Previously he's worked as financial analyst in London, UK before joining Millward Brown as a brand and marketing research analyst in Norwalk, Connecticut. He has been managing development and construction projects since 2013 when he founded Trusted Properties.

 

Tarek is dedicated to giving back to the communities in which he does business and has lead many community volunteer initiatives and fundraising events, including serving on non-profit/municipal boards and commissions.

 

Tarek has a BS with Honors in Economics and Business from Northeastern University in Boston. He is currently living in Connecticut with his wife Tamsin and son Owen.
